Space is available for those that want to stay overnight at the church.  The church is located at 2270 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17402-0130.  To get directions make use of today’s technology and use one of the many map servers available online to locate the church.  If you have problems e-mail me.

On Saturday, July 30th, the Fall District Leaders Conference will be held starting at 8:30 a.m. and run until approximately 3:30 p.m.  Light refreshments will be provided for breakfast and lunch will be provided at the church by the District.  It is important that all district staff and sectional staff be present, which includes all support staff.  Outpost Coordinators and Leaders are encouraged to attend as well.  A brief time will be allotted for reports, but most of our time will be focused on planning and, resolving issues and discussing outreach.   Major topics to be discussed will include master planning for the Camp, 2011 Territorial Rendezvous, 2012 District Powwow, 2012 National Camporama, outreach objectives, training initiatives, and GMA Capstone projects.  Numerous other items will be covered as well.   Breakaways will also take place for the Divisional Fall Camporee planning.

Commanders, this meeting is not just for district and sectional staff.  All outpost senior commanders (coordinators), commanders (group leaders), junior commanders, and young men and boys desiring to make a difference in this ministry are invited and encouraged to attend.  The direction for our district, the way the district operates, and what it can do for you and your outpost is determined by your involvement and much needed input.  Make it a point to attend this important meeting.  If you have something that you want to include on the agenda for discussion please let me know by July 27th. Any new resolutions to be considered must be submitted to me no later than July 27th. The dress for the meetings will be either Dress uniform (formerly Class ‘B’), Utility uniform, Specialty uniform, or casual (formerly Class ‘C’ staff shirts).
