New Chapter Scout Elected
Mike Sylvester from Outpost 43, Evangel A/G in Ephrata, Pa. has been elected Chapter Scout. Congratulations to him on his accomplishment.

The deadline for any Buckskin members going Wilderness is June 1st, 2013.  Submit your applications ASAP (See the rendezvous packet for more details)

A muzzleloading rifle class will be conducted in the Village on the Friday of the upcoming District Pow wow.  Class Starts at 8 am. Cost for the all day class is $20.  First 12 with paid registration will participate in the class.

George Washington Chapter FCF Spring Trace

2013 Summary

Our Spring Trace came in like a Lion - and out like a Lamb!  Friday night winds and rains were short lived as everyone was able to gather for evening devotions.  Our speaker, Jack Belin, challenged us Friday night.  He asked us "Would you rather have a map or a personal guide"?  What a great message!  The rest of the weekend saw brisk and cool temperatures and wind - both from the weather and from the Holy Spirit.   

This year there were 77 registered with 24 shelters – a nice increase when compared to the previous Fall Trace.  25 Young Bucks and 3 Old Timers moved from Greenhorns to New Frontiersman!  $874 was raised for missions from the auction…. and an additional $178.69 for BGMC - almost double from last fall's BGMC offering!   In addition, one new Buckskin from the Kanawa Chapter went through the Buckskin Ceremony.
