Camp Berry Shower House Project Fundraising Update

Shower House Project

Our much desired and needed shower house project at the Camp is starting to ramp up and come to fruition. It is estimated that the project will cost approximately $88,000. This includes the cost of the septic system needed to serve the shower house. The shower house location is proposed along the main dirt road cutting through camp on the north side of the road to the right of the existing water spigots. Preliminary plans call for the shower house to be 42'x 60' with 14 showers, 18 toilets, 16 urinals, and 20 sinks.

The Sectional Presbyters have pledged $44,000 in matching funds toward the project and request that our Outposts raise the additional $44,000. If every chartered Outpost would raise $500 - $1,000 toward this project we would exceed our goal of $44,000. We've heard for years that many Outposts don't come to camp because there are no shower and toilet facilities. Now is the opportunity to make this happen and to be a part of this project for your Camp.

Please give consideration to your Outpost contributing to our project or contributing individually to get us over the top. Please make all checks payable to Penn-Del District Royal Rangers and send all contributions to:

Greg Scott
400 Eagle Nest Drive
Camden, DE 19934

As of March 15th, we have raised $34,480. We are over 78 percent of the way to reaching our goal.
