Many of you remember our good friend and brother Dave Davenport, who spent many years in the Royal Ranger ministry. On Thursday April 3rd, Dave fell from a ladder at work in a mine and broke his elbow, wrist and hand. Dave was life-flighted to Presby in Pittsburgh ... yesterday he was still in lots of pain. Please pray for a speedy recovery for Dave and that all pain is taken away. Pray for his wife Judy as well as she will need uplifting during Dave's recovery period. Please pass this prayer request along to others. Greg Scott District Cmdr.

Rich Dibble prayer needed Senior Commander Rich Dibble of Outpost 102 Bradford Pa. (NCW Section) is again battling cancer. God healed him the first time with the support of all your prayers (even thou the doctor wasn't optimistic of his chances). This time the doctor is giving him a worse prognosis. But we know our God is all Powerful and He has a plan for each of us, lets pray for Rich's healing, strength, and comfort (this time the chemo is adversely effecting him), so God's plans for Rich can continue to show God's Glory. Thank You for your support, Doug 'BigCat' Tyger Labels: prayer

Commanders,
Floyd Larson went to be with the Lord at 5:30 AM (Sunday). Please keep the Larson family in prayer. Floyd was a pioneer in the Royal Ranger ministry and served in many capacities. During the 1969 meeting of the National Aides-de-Camp Council, a constitution and bylaws were adopted and the first officers for the Council were elected. Floyd Larson was elected Second Vice President. His career in the ministry blossomed from there. I recall serving on an NTC staff with him for my first time at Royal Ranger Mountain in Duncannon , PA. I learned a lot from him. He was certainly a man of God and a model Royal Ranger leader. He will be missed. I don't have any of the funeral information, but will pass it on when I know more. Greg Scott District Cmdr. :: Update :: Royal Rangers & Friends, We extend our sympathy to the Larson family on the passing of Commander Floyd Larson. He went home to be with our Lord this past Sunday morning. Commander Larson was one of the early pioneers of Royal Rangers – serving office on the first National Council in 1969. He served as the Men’s Director in the Southern New England District and he went onto serve as the first Northeast Regional Coordinator. He also served on many National Training Camp staffs and had a tremendous impact on the lives of multiple men and boys through Rangers. Floyd blessed many lives with his dedication to God and Royal Rangers and he will be greatly missed.
The viewing will be on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm at the Miles Funeral Home at 1158 Main Street in Holden , MA 01520 . The funeral will be on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Holden Chapel, Holden MA. The funeral home may be reached at 508-829-4434 regarding flowers or other questions.
A memorial fund has been started and those wishing to contribute may do so by sending their check to the “Floyd Larson Memorial”, Grace Bible Church , Sterling , MA .
The home address for his wife, Eunice is 22 South Rd. , Holden , MA 01520 .
Sincerely,
Dwight Walters Northeast Regional Coordinator

Please pray for Leroy. He goes in for open heart bi-pass surgery. He needs four or five bi-passes. The main front vien will be taken from his leg and put in his heart. The other four will be taken from his chest. On Monday, May 14 at 6:00 am we are asking for prayer from family, friends, church family, and Royal Rangers. A lot of Royal Rangers know Leroy Wilson. He has been in Royal Rangers for 22 years. Please pass this prayer request on to who ever the Lord leads you to. Thanks, Phyllis Wilson

Roy Saudarg, Penn Del GMA has been admitted to the Paoli Hospital (near Valley Forge/Philly). As of Thursday afternoon, the doctor are not certain the cause of his illness. So far they found a problem related to the connective tube between his liver and intestines. He's has yellow eye, showing signs of some sort of liver/kidney failure, though kidney failure has been ruled out. He should be in and out of the hospital over the next week, with testing and treatments. Please keep Roy in your prayers. We will update this when I get any more information. Labels: prayer

Many of you know Harry Hawm who is a faithful commander in the northeastsection with OP #80, Peckville, PA. Harry's home was destroyed by fire aday ago and is in need of our help. His family is virtually homeless. The NE Section is setting up a fund tohelp the Hawm family with expenses. The primary intent of the fund will befor the purchase of a new home or to cover the deposit/rent payment on a newdwelling.
We often become very comfortable and content with the lifestyle we haveestablished for ourselves and the possessions that we have amassed, but fireis final. It only takes an event like this to make us realize just howfragile life can be and how quickly we can be set back on or heels and seelife take a drastic change. Some things can be replaced, but personaleffects are gone forever. They are virtually starting life over.
I truly believe it is our moral duty and obligation to help our Christianbrother and fellow Royal Ranger Commander in their time of need and ask thatyou consider helping financially with this need. If you can contribute tothis need, please make checks payable to the NE Section Royal Rangers andmark specifically for Harry Hawm and family and send to the following address:
Jody Hummel 387 Old State Road Sweet Valley, PA 18656
Please distribute this to others throughout the district and within yoursections. Let's show our brother that we really care and are there for him. Also, keep the Hawm family in prayer during this time of need.
Truly honored to help,
Greg Scott District Cmdr.
