Penn-Del District Prayer Requests

Passing of Floyd Larson

Commanders,

Floyd Larson went to be with the Lord at 5:30 AM (Sunday). Please keep the Larson family in prayer.

Floyd was a pioneer in the Royal Ranger ministry and served in many capacities. During the 1969 meeting of the National Aides-de-Camp Council, a constitution and bylaws were adopted and the first officers for the Council were elected. Floyd Larson was elected Second Vice President. His career in the ministry blossomed from there. I recall serving on an NTC staff with him for my first time at Royal Ranger Mountain in Duncannon , PA. I learned a lot from him. He was certainly a man of God and a model Royal Ranger leader. He will be missed.

I don't have any of the funeral information, but will pass it on when I know more.

Greg Scott
District Cmdr.
