Congratulations to Chris “Spinning Hawk” Hamilton of Outpost 311, Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship church, who was elected as the Colonials Territorial Scout at the 2009 Territorial Rendezvous held near Blairstown, NJ.  Chris represented the Penn-Del District well and will represent the Young Bucks throughout the Northeast Region for the next 2 years.  Great job Chris!  Chris also successfully completed his Wilderness Vigil at the Rendezvous.  He is a great example to all the Young Bucks out there.  Keep up the great work Chris.

Congratulations are also in order for Dillon Badman from Outpost 69, Calvary A/G in Dover, DE, who also completed his Wilderness Vigil at the 2009 Territorial Rendezvous.  After completing the testing Dillon said he would encourage every Young Buck to complete his Buckskin and Wilderness advancements in the FCF and that they wouldn't regret it.  Even though it rained on his vigil he said the time he spent with the Lord was worth it.  He said one of the biggest things the Wilderness testing taught him was to be prepared, you know, "Ready".  Don't put off advancing to the next level, just do it!

The Penn-Del District George Washington Chapter of the FCF had the best showing at the 2009 Territorial Rendezvous with 84 persons in attendance.  Penn-Del continues to lead the way.  Thanks to all those who came out to represent our district and to those who helped run the activities.  It was a great time and yes, it rained.

New FCF Chapter Scout Elected

New Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship Chapter Scout

Congratulations to Chris “Spinning Hawk” Hamilton of Outpost 311, Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship church, who earned the title of Chapter Scout for the George Washington Chapter of the FCF.  Chris earned the position through a series of skills and knowledge tests he underwent at the FCF Spring Trace held at the Penn-Del RR Camp Berry in May.  He wasted no time in implementing his new position by holding a Young Buck meeting to ask the boys what they liked about the current FCF ministry and what they would like to see changed or introduced.  He received a great response from our future young leaders and I think you will like their ideas.  Chris is also a Gold Medal of Achievement recipient and I know we will see many great things from him in the near future as a young leader in our ministry.  Click here for Chris' report.
