Junior Leadership Academy trains men and boys to staff a Junior Leadership Development Academy. Leaders and boys must meet certain criteria before attending.They must submit applications to the PDJLDA Director and he will invite qualified applicants to attend. Trainees will be taught the skills needed to make a district Junior Leadership Development Academy work properly. Upon graduation, trainees will be eligible to serve on the staff at Junior Leadership Development Academy. Who is this camp for?
Boys who have completed JTC, AJTC, and an Action Camp who have also started high school (Grades 9 – 12).
What does this camp teach?
Boys will learn what is required to be on staff for a Jr. Camp. This includes what is necessary for pre-camp preparation and set-up, basic instructional techniques, Royal Ranger teaching methods, spiritual leadership, what the qualifications are for various roles in the camp. There is a practical hand-on portion to the teaching, and various leadership roles such as patrol advisors and Sr. Patrol Leaders.

What do I need to do to attend?
Boys must meet the requirements stated above and on the application. Complete and return all application materials by the deadline with the indicated deposit.
