A climbing wall was donated to the PennDel District Royal Rangers. We will be picking it up in the near future from a new building Newport Assembly (Mike Schechterly’s church) has acquired for food distribution ministry. Branden Krause has looked at the wall and indicates we can use the framing in our barn and then re-assemble the face boards. We will need to purchase some extra long framing wood and will need the ropes, pullies, harnesses, etc. Branden’s rough estimate is $2,000. We also had feedback from last PowWow that we need to double the capacity of our exciting Zip Line and increase the speed of the dismount area. I will include another $1,000 for that so lets work on raising a total of $3,000 and get these two things in place for next year. Please join me in working to raise these funds so both can be fully functional for use next year. Please also let your churches know that we are moving ahead on the Shower House – all permits have been received and we plan to work on the foundations in the near future.
An account will be set up for the Climbing Wall and Zip Line funds so you and your church can mail or give online contributions (please note they are for those projects). If there is extra it will be used for camp needs. Please let your church boards know of the need and lets trust the Lord for these funds. $365 has been committed already so we need $2,635 more.
